Client Program Director

Are you collaborative energetic passionate and customercentric

As the Client Program Director (CPD) you lead the global Customer Experience (CX) community to operationally serve one of our Key Clients you are an essential element of the global account team resulting in successful customer experience and business growth around the globe. This role covers all products and services (OCELnS) and all brands.

Be together with the Key Client Director (KCD) the client expert internally and the client advisor externally.

You lead improvement and value adding projects and guide implementing new customer business for Maersk.

Key responsibilities

  • Enhance customer satisfaction
  • Host and engage in regular customer calls reviewing performance and making forward looking plans
  • Lead the customer transformation and verify implementation of valuecreating projects in the customer supply chain
  • Find and implement possibilities of productivity improvement against service delivery level
  • Enable sharing of operational expertise and knowledge within the community through daytoday and participation in inspirational workshops
  • Represent the customers interests internally during additional business implementations
  • Set up plans for onboarding training and development of the CX team serving the customer
  • Be involved in objective setting & performance management of the CX team
  • Provide recognition & feedback proactively
  • Engage with Commercial Operational and Product experts to explore new developments servicing the changes in customer demand
  • Host global/regional Client Program Management meetings calls and share best practices proactively with the option to travel

We are looking for

  • Interest and willingness to learn about the Key Client priorities and assess strategically how Maersk can serve them
  • Understanding of and passion for driving Operational Excellence in the business
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of complex operational and commercial matters
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to form a strong account community and manage stakeholders on various levels both within Maersk and our customer
  • Ability to problem solve and recommend appropriate course of action creating value for the customer
  • German speaker
  • A strong background in airfreight operations

If you bring below this is a bonus for us

  • Experience with a proven track record in operational/program/project management and/or supply chain management. Commercial experience is a plus
  • Proven and sustained performance history of delivered success with focus on driving results in a matrix organization
  • High sense of urgency and persistence
  • Outstanding verbal writing and presentation skills
