Womans Recovery Network WREN
WREN is a 35 bed womens mental health service. This is an innovative response to the Royal Commissions recommendation on private/ public partnerships and the need for gender and sexual safe units. In partnership Alfred Health Ramsay Health and Goulburn Valley Health will provide a statewide specialist comprehensive trauma informed wellness focused service for women or those who identify as women who present with mental health conditions. This service will assess treat and support women over 18 years of age presenting with complex mental health conditions in a relational context including presentation during the perinatal period and for women presenting with eating disorders.
This service will include a combination of inpatient and bed substitution beds. This includes 5 perinatal beds 5 Eating Disorder beds 14 General Womens Mental Health beds (inclusive of 4 high level of care beds) within the Albert Road Clinic (ARC) Hub and up to 2 beds in Shepparton Private Hospital in the Shepparton Spoke.
Ngamai Wilam
Ngamai Wilam is anewly built 12bed residential eating disorder treatment facilityin Armadale set to open inMay 2025. Jointly funded by theAustralian Federal Governmentand theVictorian Government this specialiststatewide servicewill be managed byAlfred Health.
The service will provide24/7 traumainformed recoveryfocused carefor adults aged 18 and over in agenderinclusive homelike therapeutic environment. With a strong focus onfamily and chosen supports Ngamai Wilam is committed todelivering highquality personcentred care that promotes longterm recovery.
The Role
The role of the Service Improvement Coordinator is to support and implement processes that guide the mental health service towards continuous improvement with a specific focus on feedback audits and clinical risk management. This includes supporting the collection use evaluation and management of feedback and risk information within the Area Mental Health Service.
This position is a resource and contact person in relation to feedback & complaints management risk monitoring and improvement adherence to standards and legislative compliance across the service.
