General Summary.
In support of facilities compliance the Safety Coordinator will perform internal safety and security audits. The Safety Coordinator will also be responsible for training all internal employees on health and safety regulations.
This position will be responsible for..
- Inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company state and federal safety policies and regulations.
- Documenting safety inspections citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures and maintaining safety equipment supply and availability.
- Create audit templates generate reports manage user accounts train end users and lead computer file maintenance.
- Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.
- Identify hazardous workplace conditions.
- Train employees on safety company policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to employee safety.
- Maintain safety and security records.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
