Power Plant Operations Performance Supervisor
This is an opportunity to join an operations team focused on training and growth.
We are seeking someone with a strong background in power plant operations or operations experience with a willingness to learn a new industry.
The Power Plant Operations Performance Supervisor works with the Power Plant Operations Production Supervisor to set field team expectations coach mentor and develop personnel; focus is provided on effective and wellregulated human performance processes. The Performance Supervisor oversees development and maintenance of initial and continuous job qualification standards administers a systematic approach to training and establishes expectations that monitor and continually improve personnel technical performance.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides supervision of Power Plant Operations Shift Foremen Fireman/Boiler Operators and Assistant Plant Operators.
Uses training to implement a culture of correct behaviors; asking the right questions that lead to desired outcome of an Operations focused facility.
Implements and maintains a wellregulated training program to initially train and evaluate personnel to successfully operate the plant.
Develops training programs tailored to the specific needs of the work group and learning styles.
Supports and promotes a strong power plant safety culture.
Sample of Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Associate degree in applicable field and power plant experience preferred.
Supervisory skills with an Everyday Leadership approach.
Possess a growth mindset with a curiosity to learn
Provide coaching and development to team.
Starting Pay Rate: $10200 annually
