Job Description

Would you like to join a leading multiawardwinning interior fitout and construction contractor that deliver incredible design & build projects for major clients within the commercial office environment

An opporutnity has arisen to join a principal commercial office design and build contractor asProject Manager to take responsibility for delivering fasttrack smallworks interiors projects for a wide range of clients acrossLondon. Projects vary in size and complexity but are generally up to 250000 in value and involve small construction works light refurbishments adhoc interiors projects office moves relocations reconfigurations layout changes and redecorations etc.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Projects the Project Manager will have responsibility for:

  • The operational management and performance of the project(s).
  • Ensuring works are completed safely to programme budget and quality standards expected by the client in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Adhering to commercial guidelines established best practice and professional/company standards.
  • Ensure project/contract risks are clearly identified and controlled.
  • Ensure that all works including those of suppliers and subcontractors are supervised and coordinated to deliver on safety quality programme and environmental objectives.
  • Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with allHealth Safety & Environmentallegislation policies andprocedures.
  • Manage subcontractors service providers & operatives to construct the works safely.
  • Ensure site inductions are carried out.
  • Make efficient use of standard IT packages to efficiently manage own time.
  • Understand contract objectives and communicate to site teams.

Requirements
  • Qualifications and/or experience in construction management interior design project management or similar.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and how it related to workplace construction projects.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients contractors and suppliers.
