ROLE SUMMARY:
The Senior Specialist Logistics plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless of brewery shipment plans by securing overtheroad (common carrier) transportation capacity. This role focuses on optimizing carrier performance enhancing brewery operations and improving wholesaler service. The individual will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to sustain strategic carrier partnerships monitor transportation metrics and drive operational improvements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for securing overtheroad freight coverage for multiple breweries shipment plans on costeffective carriers to ensure timely of shipment plans by carrier partners.
• Work daily with crossfunctional teams such as breweries inventory management procurement and Tier 1 to apply and sustain contracts with strategically aligned carrier partners.
• Manage & communicate transportation processes and plans to the region team and management to ensure positive business results.
• Monitor carrier performance to include but not limited to; award acceptance percentage ontime pickup ontime delivery trailer pool compliance ETA accuracy freight claims etc. Address poor performance directly with the carrier to improve brewery operations and wholesaler service.
• Develop and improve carrier & brewery relationships by providing excellent customer service and communicating in a professional & solutionsoriented manner. Efforts should lead to increased capacity and service performance.
• Work effectively as a team member within the logistics team. Actively participate positively to execute support monitor and achieve Logistics KPIs and goals.
• Identify and implement process changes that improve in daytoday activities.
• Address operational topics with sense of urgency and make sure operations are servicing internal SLAs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills (telephone and email) are essential
• Bachelors degree preferably in Business Supply Chain Management or Operations
• Prior business or internship experience particularly in a transportation or supply chain role
• Strong teamwork & problemsolving skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced changing environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail with excellent followup skills
