Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director to oversee and lead largescale projects in the commercial construction and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead the planning and closing of largescale commercial and hospitality construction projects.

Develop and manage project timelines budgets and resources.

Coordinate with architects engineers subcontractors and clients to ensure seamless project .

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.

Ensure compliance with all safety quality and regulatory standards.

Estimating and Bidding:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for large commercial and hospitality projects.

Analyze project specifications drawings and other documents to accurately determine project costs.

Develop and submit competitive bids ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients suppliers and subcontractors.

Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential project risks.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor project managers site supervisors and other project team members.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment promoting teamwork and professional growth.

Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Client Relations:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field preferred or significant work experience in construction estimating and project management.

Minimum of 510 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable but not required.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation is a plus.

Proven experience in construction estimating and bidding on large projects.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Excel Project etc..

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves working in various environments including residential commercial and industrial sites.
  • The role requires physical activity including lifting bending and working in potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Travel to job sites is required and availability for emergency response situations may be necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type:Fulltime

Pay: $7090k annually DOE; with potential commission incentives
