About the Role
The Head of Commercial Analytics will lead the Commercial Analytics function for Marketing and Customer Engagement driving performance improvements and providing valuable insights to influence decisions at Sportsbet. Youll partner with key stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes for both customers and the business while uplifting the skills and capabilities of the Analytics team.
As a key member of the Commercial Analytics Leadership Team you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with functional leadership teams to deliver quality insights and recommendations that improve commercial performance and implement strategic priorities.
- Building and developing frameworks to uplift the overall capability of the Commercial Analytics team.
- Contributing to Sportsbets strategic planning and budgeting process leading the implementation of annual strategic objectives.
- Working closely with the data teams to enhance data capability and literacy across Sportsbet.
- Developing strong relationships with functional and data leadership teams.
- Embedding a highperforming culture within the team.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative strategic thinker with a passion for people and Analytics driving both team growth and business success.
About You
- Strong leadership experience in managing analytical or commercial teams.
- Passionate about building highperforming teams fostering a great culture and developing effective ways of working.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills particularly with senior leaders.
- Enthusiastic about data storytelling and visualisation.
- Proficient in working with data warehouses and experienced with SQL Python and visualisation tools like Power BI.
- A solid background in the Australian wagering and racing industries (desirable but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Skilled in translating highlevel strategy into actionable operational plans.
- Tertiary qualifications in business mathematics finance or a related science discipline.
