Build on a culture of philanthropy for patient care and research.As a leader in Radiology you will work in a team environment to support all modalities and Radiology business operations across the Seattle Childrens enterprise. Your specific assignment will include management of one or more radiology departments. You will be responsible for geographically diverse sites as well as ambulatory hospital and hospital outpatient service types. Part of your accountability is to achieve patient experience staff engagement financial and quality outcomes for your specific assignments. In addition to owning a specific radiology department you will be the operational leader of at least one nonclinical area of responsibility (related to imaging services) within the organization (examples might be: the radiology information management system compliance IS&T medical imaging systems business operations accreditation liaison to key departments/sites etc.. You will be expected to be the manager on call in a rotation with other radiology managers Radiology we believe that partnering with Radiology colleagues with clinical departments and with support departments across the organization improves services and care delivery and promotes growth and quality. You will participate in and/or lead projects and initiatives that are diverse complex and crossorganizational. Other Managerial tasks may include but are not limited to: Manage and oversee assigned personnel. Manage and oversee the CUMG Radiology physician practice activities and finances. Manage and oversee physician and hospital billing and reimbursement operations; provide guidance on chargeable services and pricing. Assist with management of the academic division of pediatric radiology at Seattle Childrens Hospital; interface with UW Radiology and other UW offices on academic/faculty related issues. Lead and direct the Radiology research support program personnel activities and budgets. Manage and lead the Radiology Clinical Imaging Research Core of the SCRI Center for Clinical and Translational Research. Facilitate/oversee funded research activities of the pediatric radiologists and manage physician accounts/budgets. Serve as key contact to principal investigators and research staff on imaging and interventional services provided for enterprisewide and external funded research projects. Utilizing continuous process improvement methodologies initiate and maintain procedures to effectively serve clientle/stakeholders and assure compliance with corporate research and regulatory agency directives for clinical activities and research billable services. Provide departmental guidance for System for Daily Improvement and Quality Assurance projects and metrics. Partner with modality supervisors and operations manager to implement operational improvements that drive efficiency. Collaborate with operations manager and modality supervisors to implement annual planning and goal process and track performance. Drive use of data and analytics to improve operations. Actively participate as a member of the departmental leadership team; sharing duties related to daily department rounding and safety report outs as well as providing coverage as Administrator OnCall for Radiology. Manage the administrative areas operations in a manner that meets continuous performance improvement customer service financial and delivery requirements that support the Radiology Department. Partners with the department and faculty leadership to identify and implement the operational needs for departmental projects and programs initiatives. Lead and support development and maintenance of standard work and related tools policies training materials and methods/procedures.
Required Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Business Health Care Administration or job relevant field.Operational work experience in higher education organization.Demonstrated leadership abilities in a complex Health Care or Medical Specialty environment.One year experience in research operations finance support services grants management or academic physician practice management.

Compensation Range
$104797.00 $157195.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on fulltime employment 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
