Job Description
Summary
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pineis seeking a Plant Supervisor. This position will direct production and distribution operations for a plant shift including managing production personnel production performance and employee safety.This is a fulltime position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinates production distribution warehousing and shipping of products per company policies principles and procedures established by the Plant Manager.
- Ensures employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies including OSHA and EPA.
- Oversees housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
- Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates degree with two 2 years related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
