ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently offering a permanent fulltime ANUM position in our Postnatal floor. This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity. Join our dynamic Maternity Services team providing compassionate care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Full time position available will consider part time.

The Postnatal Associate Unit Manager is responsible for:

  • Shift workflow and planning

  • Overall management of postnatal care of women and their babies on the postnatal ward to maximise effective business and patient outcomes

  • Ensuring that the philosophy and values of St Vincent Private Hospital are inherent in the delivery of health care services

  • Risk management and response

  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary team

SHIFT OPTIONS & WORKING HOURS:

  • Morning: 8hour shifts

  • Afternoon: 8hour shifts

  • Night: 10hour shifts

ABOUT YOU:

As an ANUM you will have:

  • Authority to practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.

  • A minimum of 3 years postnatal experience. Recent & acute.

  • Passion for working with the Postnatal Unit Manager to lead the team

  • A strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.

  • Dedication to patientfocused care and working as part of a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective problemsolving abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure

  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
