Role: Locum Pharmacy Medicines Management Technician (MMT)
Banding: Band 6
Location: Milton Keynes
Start Date: 2nd of September 2024
Duration: Fulltime Until the 1st of December 2024
Rate: 23 29 per hour
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Medicines Management Technician (MMT) to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is a temporary position starting immediately and ending on December 1 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will provide expert medicines management services within the pharmacy department. You will ensure the safe effective and economical use of medicines. You will support clinical staff with medicationrelated queries and issues. You will conduct medication reviews and provide patient counselling. You will maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Knowledge:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACTPT) certification.
- MMT qualification is essential.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
