We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Facilities Locksmith to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic motivated selfstarters to work on a variety of work assignments. Youll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
EssentialDuties& Responsibilities
Locksmith Services & Mechanical Adjustments:
- Install repair and adjust mechanical and electronic locks doors and panic devices.
- Adjust and align doors frames and associated hardware to ensure proper functionality.
- Rekey locks cut and issue keys and manage master key systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical locking systems including Lenel security systems.
- Install and maintain door closers hinges exit devices and other security hardware.
- Respond to emergency lockout situations and security breaches as needed.
Access Control & Security Systems:
- Install program and maintain electronic access control systems including keypads key cards and biometric locks.
- Manage and troubleshoot Lenel security systems and integrate with the building security networks.
- Ensure compliance with ADA fire codes and security standards in all installations and repairs.
- Work with IT and security teams to implement upgrades to access control and keyless entry systems.
Key Management & Maintenance System:
- Maintain and organize key systems and records ensuring accurate tracking of key distribution and access credentials.
- Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all locks doors and security hardware.
- Conduct condition assessments of locking mechanisms and security systems planning for repairs replacements and future upgrades.
Project Coordination & Record Keeping:
- Schedule and coordinate projects with suppliers vendors and other trades involved in security and door hardware installation.
- Work with procurement and vendors to source highquality security hardware.
- Maintain detailed service records work logs and inventory of locksmith tools and equipment.
- Utilize Windows 365 and key management software to document track and report locksmith services.
Education & Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- 3 years of locksmith experience with expertise in both mechanical and electronic locking systems.
- Experience with adjusting doors installing panic devices and door hardware maintenance.
- Proficiency in Lenel security systems and electronic access control systems.
- Strong computer skills including Windows 365 Excel Word and key management software.
- Ability to schedule and coordinate projects with suppliers contractors and other trades.
- Knowledge of building and fire codes ADA compliance and security best practices.
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass a background check.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) Certified Professional Locksmith (CPL) or Certified Master Locksmith (CML).
- Experience with commercialgrade security brands such as Medeco Schlage Primus and ASSA ABLOY.
- Knowledge of IPbased security systems and networked access control solutions.
- Experience conducting condition assessments and planning future security needs.

Salary Range:$26 $30 per hour
