Job Description

Corporate Human Resource :
  • Work closely with the Promoters on policies and programs for the Group Companies/business verticals.
  • Effectively achieve the goals of the organization with his active participation in the process of acquisition and development of employees.
  • developing and implementing an overall strategy for organizational growth Manpower Planning RecruitmentEmployee engagement Performance management IR/ labor relations such as union handling employee retention grievance procedures disciplinary actions statutory compliance and labor policy to support an excellent work environment and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Support employee relations by advocating an attitude and philosophy consistent with the core values of the company.
  • Supervise and guide the HR manager and executives in the group
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Coordinate & enable quality hiring (collaborate with functional heads on manpower planning/needs)
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process at Plant corporate office and sales offices
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Review the monthly MIS & align strategy with the management

Compliances & Industrial Relations

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands grievances or other issues
  • Manage employee relations negotiation settlements etc.
  • Union avoidance tactics with strong knowledge of the National Industrial Relations Act.
  • Managing and negotiating union collective bargaining agreement experience
  • Work with and at the direction of the promoters on projects that align business and labor strategies to ensure timely of business priorities.
  • This position will incorporate knowledge of state and central employment laws to address requests from government affiliates.
  • Take the lead role in investigating and answering governmental claims
  • Lead/Oversee or Assist Region HR/IR leaders in executing labor strategy and all field activities within the Business Units.
  • Build credibility with employees maintain good morale amongst employees gain trust of management etc.

Required Candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with employment laws governing the workplace is required
  • Demonstrated problem solving judgment and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide high quality independent analysis conclusions and recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational analytical written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to think critically and effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is objective and consistent.
  • Ability to handle information of sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner.
