About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test & Release Manager with strong automation expertise to lead the QA and release strategy for a major digital transformation initiative with a private banking client. You will define and implement testing frameworks methodologies tooling and coordinate release cycles across multiple development streams. This is a handson and strategic role requiring technical depth and strong stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall test strategy including automation manual testing regression coverage and traceability.
- Establish and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines integrated with CI/CD environments.
- Own and coordinate release planning and governance ensuring stability and compliance across environments.
- Work closely with development DevOps and product teams to ensure smooth QA and release alignment.
- Propose and drive adoption of tooling processes and QA best practices.
- Define and monitor test KPIs and release metrics reporting progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of quality and security aligned with industry and bankingspecific compliance expectations.
MustHave Skills & Experience
- 5 years in QA leadership including at least 2 years in a combined test release ownership role.
- Strong handson experience with test automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright etc..
- Experience building and managing test pipelines within CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI Jenkins Azure DevOps etc..
- Deep understanding of release lifecycle management including branching strategies versioning and rollback planning.
- Knowledge of banking or highly regulated industries is a major advantage.
- Excellent communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills.
NicetoHave
- ISTQB or other QArelated certifications.
- Experience with performance testing and/or security testing practices.
- Familiarity with Gherkin BDD/TDD frameworks and test documentation tools.
