We have a great opportunity for a dedicated sales professional passionate about technology and helping customers to join our team!

This role is essential to develop maintain and improve direct customer relationships in the southern DACH region (south Germany Austria Switzerland) for the Reliability Solutions (RS) Business Unit (BU). Interacting both with new and existing accounts our new colleague will position the Emerson RS portfolio as the first choice for customers in the above mentioned areas and establish a solid longterm relationship to build profitable business growth. They will travel frequently in the designated area as well as in the wider DACH region to build relationships with additional branches/offices of the assigned accounts.

In this role your responsibilities will be:
  • Achieve and exceed sales bookings and gross profit targets for the RS Groups products services and solutions in the defined area and at defined Accounts.
  • Actively visit new and existing customers to promote the entire solution portfolio and services and seek out new opportunities for business.
  • Follow strategic goals and initiatives from the RS BU to build credibility for yourself and the company forge strong relationships and acquire an insiders perspective on the customers business to drive adoption of the portfolio.
  • Discuss discount price and volume structures with customer contacts.
  • Maintain cooperation with the existing sales force and business development team across all BUs in order to find and use cross selling opportunities.
  • Provide competitive technical and commercial input for each proposal and support in the proposal process.
  • Active usage of sales productivity tools like CRM DMS and Decision Support Tool including in delivering an accurate order forecast and following opportunities.

You serve as a strategic partner to build grow and maintain profitable and longlasting relationships with key accounts.

Required qualifications and experience
  • University degree or equivalent experience in an engineering/technical related field
  • Previous experience in sales/account management.
  • Knowledge of process industry and B2B sales.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement Strategic Account Plans and to achieve strong results.
  • Fluent in German and English Language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools;
  • Willingness to travel (around 6070 of the time)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Additional education in business administration.
  • Knowledge or experience in the field of Condition Monitoring and/or Plant Asset Management.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems.
