We are looking for a passionate Sr NodeJS Engineer to join our team with expertise in NodeJS JavaScript ES6.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Halifax NS is CAD $120k CAD $130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable Node.js applications
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement new features
• Debug and troubleshoot Node.js applications
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code
• Stay up to date with the latest Node.js best practices and technologies
• Continuously improve application performance and scalability
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of Node.js applications

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 yrs of exp. with Comprehensive NodeJS JavaScript ES6
• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Computer Engineering or a related field
• Experience with Authentication encryption cryptography session/state management
• Experience with Realtime systems integrations (Web Sockets/Kafka/Solace)
• Experience with Express / GraphQL
• Experience with Cronjobs mailers schedulers webworkers
• Experience with Advanced MongoDB/Reddis querying
• Experience with Git/Docker/Kubernets
• Experience with React/Redux.
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
