Job Description

Organizational Capacity Mapping Intern

Alger Algeria

This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in analyzing and mapping organizational capacities contributing valuable insights to enhance effectiveness and strategic planning. Its wellsuited for individuals interested in organizational development and management analysis.

Mission

  • Support the development and implementation of organizational capacity mapping processes to assess capabilities and resources.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data on organizational structures processes and functions to identify strengths and gaps.
  • Help create visual representations of organizational capacities such as charts and diagrams to facilitate understanding and communication.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather insights on current capacities and future needs.
  • Contribute to the documentation and refinement of capacity mapping methodologies and best practices.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations for improving organizational capacity.
  • Support project management efforts to ensure timely progress on capacity mapping initiatives.

Required Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Organizational Development Business Administration Management Psychology or a related field.
  • A strong interest in organizational analysis and capacity building is essential.
  • Previous internship or experience in organizational development management consulting or related roles is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for improving organizational effectiveness.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills for effectively collaborating with team members and presenting findings.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel data visualization software) to analyze capacityrelated data.
  • Understanding of organizational structure and human resource management principles.
  • Basic project management skills to assist in coordinating organizational capacity mapping efforts.
  • Familiarity with frameworks and models related to capacity building and assessment.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse organizational environments.
