The Cardiac Anesthetist Team at Emory University Hospital (EUH) & Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) is seeking to hire Anesthetists Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to become a vital part of Emory Healthcares integrated academic healthcare system.

Highlights of joining the Emory University Hospital & Emory University Hospital Midtown Cardiac Anesthetist Team:
EUH & EUHM Cardiac Anesthetist Team assists in the management of patients undergoing general anesthesia for surgical procedures including heart and lung transplants VADs ECMO CABGs robotic CABGs conventional valve surgery minimally invasive valve surgery VATs robotic lobectomies general thoracic. We also participate in out of OR procedures including TAVRs Mitral clips TEVARs EP procedures and anesthesia for TEEs and cardioversions.
All Anesthetists are expected to supervise Student Anesthetists participate managing patient needs at both Emory University Hospital (EUH) and Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) as well as have the opportunity to participate in clinical research.
At all Emory Healthcare sites our CAAs CRNAs and MDs collaborate within the Anesthesia Care Team model ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium):
2050 lbs; 033 of the work day (occasionally); 1125 lbs 3466 of the workday (frequently); 0110 lbs 67100 of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking Occasional sitting Close eye work (computers typing reading writing) Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Bloodborne pathogen exposure Biohazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock Floor Surfaces Hot/Cold Temperatures Indoor/Outdoor conditions Latex Lighting Patient care/handling injuries Radiation shift work Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment including respirators environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
