Were looking for a dedicated Temporary Community Grants Officer to support local initiatives and enhance the impact of Councils grants program.

In this role youll manage community grants foster key relationships and contribute to strategic impactful projects. If you have strong organisational and communication skills a desire to help communities thrive and a collaborative spirit this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What your day will look like:

  • Support the preparation of reports and budget submissions to Council
  • Support the development implementation and administration of Councils Community Grants Framework including policy programmes processes and guidelines to ensure that Council is delivering a best practice programme that meets Councils strategic objectives
  • Administer Councils Community Grants Programme to ensure an efficient and effective system that provides a continuous improvement focus
  • Using a community development approach support the development implementation and education and information programme for Councils Community Grants
  • Undertake stakeholder liaison and engagement to ensure that Council has a reputation for accountability transparency and compliance with internal grant programmes
