An exciting opportunity has become available within the medical device industry for a Manufacturing Technician based in Cape Town.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric
0 2 years experience in medical devices manufacturing
Interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembly
o Support and improve the production process through device assembly
o Execute assembly of components with precision to ensure a workable product
o Develop mastery on the equipment and production process
o Execute and coordinate equipment process and product validation activities
o Adhere to production process protocol work instruction and process improvement changes
o Perform work in a safe manner notifying management of safety issues and risks
Maintenance
o Perform equipment sterilization
o Conduct/assist with equipment calibration
o Inspect component quality
o Maintain a clean room environment according to regulatory requirements
o Meet and maintain training requirements
o Maintain proper documentation for quality and compliance matters
