Have strong experience in graphics programming and physics simulation with a passion for pushing boundaries in virtual environments. A typical day for an SDE on the Amazon Robotics Virtual Systems Team is diverse and challenging. The Virtual Systems Team at Amazon Robotics develops advanced simulation and visualization technologies enabling customers to create efficient solutions across diverse applications. They specialize in building comprehensive simulation models covering physics sensors and largescale systems while implementing multidetail digital twins for various 3D applications. The teams expertise in early prototyping and realistic visualization empowers customers to explore innovative concepts and bring their simulations to life with high accuracy. This approach accelerates development reduces costs and bridges the gap between virtual testing and realworld implementation driving innovation in robotics and automation.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
Professional experience with Computer Graphics Robotics Simulation Python C Object Oriented Programming Omniverse Unity or Unreal
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with Image Processing Augmented & Virtual Reality GPU Programming Sensors (RGB Depth Lidar) Tracking systems CUDAOpenUSD GIT OpenCV OpenGL OpenCL GLSL C# Java
