You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailBrixham College are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join us on a part time basis to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will work alongside the SENDCo in providing professional guidance to colleagues working closely with staff parents/carers and other agencies to ensure the SEND Code of Practice is followed. You will join a committed team providing outstanding education and support for our students ensuring the best possible outcomes for students with SEND.
Our SEND Teacher will ideally be primary qualified or have a strong subject knowledge across a range of subjects including core English and Mathematics with a focus on SEND specific knowledge. They will be skilled in adapting teaching to deliver bespoke learning to individual pupils within a wider group and across a range of year groups effectively using positive behaviour management techniques.
