You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPacifica Hotels is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team at our Home Office in Aliso Viejo CA! The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting principles for a portfolio of hotels.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Independent Judgment Used: Frequently within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within Pacifica Hotel Company policies and procedures.
Working Conditions/Environment: Office Environment
Qualifications: BA/BS in Accounting Finance or a related field. Two to Four years prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area. Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast paced setting. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook. Ten key by touch required. Strong multientity accounting. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift of boxes of files weighing up to 20 lbs. Occasional filing. Occasional trips to properties for meetings.

Pay Range: $26.00 $31.00 per hour
