NonTenure Track Faculty Position
Educational Leadership and Policy
Position: The Department of Policy Organizational and Leadership Studies in the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University is seeking to fill a nontenure track faculty position in Educational Leadership and Policy beginning August 2025. The compelling candidate will be able to fill key instruction needs by demonstrating deep knowledge and expertise in urban education schooling and school the candidate for this position will have prior higher education teaching experience prior school or school district leadership experience and expertise in organizational leadership and change education policy urban education and civic engagement addition to the aforementioned duties the responsibilities of the position include advising masters and doctoral students chairing and serving on dissertation committees and participating in department college and professional service activities.
Qualifications: Required qualifications are an earned doctorate in education educational leadership or administration or a relevant field and experience in teaching universitylevel courses. Experience as an administrator in a school district or school leadership organization and administering executivestyle education programs is strongly preferred.

The Department: The Department of Policy Organizational & Leadership Studies (POLS) prepares graduates for leadership roles in academic organizational and community settings.
