Job Description

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the daytoday operations of the JSOU library including acquisitions circulation personnel reference & information services programs and other administrative duties
  • Provide research subject matter expertise support
  • Provide input for annual library report and annual library budget
  • Collate and analyze library statistics and design tools
  • Develop mutually supportive relationships with applicable library associations or other libraries to expand the network of research and reference opportunities

This is a part time position.



Requirements

DOD Security Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and current eligibility to gain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Education:Masters degree in library and Information Sciences

Job Qualifications/Experience:Required: Five years experience as a lead librarian at a college or university level. Current Knowledge of library trends issues and technology. Perform physical work to include the ability to carry pull and lift up to 40 pounds and stand for one hour.
