Description
Schochet is currently seeking a Property Accountant to join its Finance and Accounting team in Braintree MA.
Responsibilities include but not limited to maintaining the general ledger and bank reconciles for a portfolio of properties. In addition the position will prepare yearend workpaper packages monthly financials assist with budget preparation and coordinate monthend close with site managers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets
- BS degree in Accounting Business or Finance preferred
- Selfdirected team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask to be selfmotivated and take initiative
- Prior Property Accounting experience is a plus.
