JOB SUMMARY:
The Engineer Industrial CoOp assists the Business Analytics & Industrial Engineering Department in accomplishing tasks including: time studies data collection data analysis metric development and and projects pertaining to increasing efficiency reducing costs impacting sales and improving throughput.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute and participate in data collection studies. Perform data analysis using statistical tools and methodologies.
- Utilize industrial engineering and business analytics tools (e.g. probability and statistics process flow analysis queuing theory data visualization / dashboarding etc. as appropriate to improve operational efficiency. Can include aiding in developing and using analytical forecasting/prediction models that yield process and labor improvement recommendations and improved propertywide operations planning. Could also include establishing key performance tracking metrics and monitoring ongoing performance.
- Aid in the development and of productivity and efficiency related analyses. Evaluate and improve methods and procedures for the various operational processes throughout the resort.
- Aid in the development and delivery of business cases & presentations with potential audiences including front line stakeholders business leaders and executive leadership.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- In pursuit of Bachelors degree in an accredited Industrial Engineering or equivalent program.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year educational experience in an accredited Industrial Engineering or equivalent program prior internship and/or prior industrial engineering experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- This internship will be fully in person based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than August 2025.
