Labourer

Would you like to work as part of a team working on outdoor recreation and environmental restoration projects Bring your willingness to learn and we will help build your technical skills!

Work alongside great carpenters machine operators and leaders you will help build and bring our projects to life. If you have a passion for nature and all things adventure then you are halfway there to understanding what we do. You will get to help build bridges develop and maintain trails help construct playgrounds staircases as well as work on restoring the environment to preserve natural areas.

The outdoors is your (sometimes literal) playground!

Cabin Operations Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in three main divisions: environmental operations recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add aLabourerto our environmental/recreation team.

Responsibilities:

As a Labourer you will be responsible for the following:

• Working with hand tools and machinery to build and maintain trails parks and infrastructure outdoors
• Restore and enhance environments with landscape planting
• Complete daily equipment servicing checklists and reporting for deficiencies
• Keep up to date on inventory of tools lumber supplies and hardware equipment

What we are looking for:

• A proven commitment to safety
• Experience working on front country and backcountry trails
• 13 years experience operating skid steer and miniex building parks and trails (preferred)
• Certificate of Qualification to operate heavy equipment is an asset
• Passionate for the outdoors with biking hiking climbing etc.
• Familiar to working long hours in the outdoors
• Easy going and super organized individual
• Adventurous selfstarter with integrity
• Valid BC Drivers License and legally allowed to work in Canada
• Valid Level 1 First Aid (minimum)
