What Were Looking For

The Labor Distribution Accountant supports the mission of the University by recording examining and analyzing laborrelated transactions analyzing and preparing reports monitoring activity reviewing transactions for accuracy and conformance with established standards and procedures and serving as an accounting resource.

A bachelors degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. Five years of experience is preferred.

A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a casebycase basis.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a FullTime basis.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain updated knowledge of GAAP University policies procedures and financial requirements.
  • Coordinate with an assigned client group to ensure accurate recording of labor costing in a proactive manner.
  • Interface successfully with these departments in an advisory capacity providing guidance and assistance in proper allocation of labor costs taking into account job function level of effort and funding sources.
  • Advise Business Officers and Financial Managers regarding prospective costing changes and retroactive changes when necessary.
  • Process record and analyze labor distribution transactions into Oracle Fusion.
  • Complete validations of data entered on an ongoing basis.
  • Analyze results of labor distribution processes to identify errors or inaccuracies and resolve as needed and process retroactive costing.
  • Provide various labor cost reports to units and departments.
  • Support Labor Distribution team in various aspects as requested.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission.
  • Ability to comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
