Job Description
- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording verifying consolidating and entering transactions
- Pay supplier invoices taxes and employee expenses
- Prepare VAT Returns
- Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
- Post and reconcile Company bank accounts
- Post and review intercompany transactions per company policy
- Monthly Balance Sheet Account schedule preparations and reconciliations
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable ensuring proper cash flow management
- Assist with year-end audits
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Undertake ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications :
- University degree (Accounting Economics Finance) or equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
- Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly with Excel.
- Ability to train and manage staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive confidential information.
