Job Description

The role

  • Full Time Continuing
  • Level 6 $89345 to $96639 pa (plus 17 superannuation)
  • Orange

The Research Administrator oversees the School of Rural Medicine Doctor of Medicine (MD) Project program enabling medical students to conduct impactful rural health research. This role involves coordinating 37 projects annually managing ethics approvals liaising with clinicians and supporting students. Through seamless collaboration it ensures the success of student projects and contributes to advancing rural healthcare outcomes.

About you

  • A qualification inPublic Health Nursing Social Sciences or a related area with relevant work experience preferable within health systems in a rural setting. Previous experience in a research related role will be highly favourable.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to contribute to the writing of research proposals and reports and other academic publications
  • Demonstrate analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to utilise and embrace current and emerging technologies to achieve work objectives
