Job Description

Job Title: Locum Senior Biomedical Scientist
Banding: Band 7
Location: West Yorkshire
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: 30.00 32.00 Per Hour
Working Hours: Core hours

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our clients team in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment offering a competitive rate and an immediate start. As a Band 7 role youll have the chance to lead and make a significant impact within the laboratory team. Key Responsibilities:

In this role youll play a pivotal role in delivering highquality diagnostic services. You will oversee and perform complex laboratory tests ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results. Youll lead a team of scientists providing mentorship training and fostering a collaborative environment. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting problemsolving and implementing new techniques or procedures. Additionally youll maintain strict compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will also involve liaising with clinical staff offering insights that directly influence patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

HCPC registration.
Relevant degree in Biomedical Science.
Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a laboratory setting
Extensive experience with laboratory equipment techniques and troubleshooting
Proven ability to lead train and mentor junior staff.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clinical and medical staff.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a commitment to continuous professional development.
