The Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation is responsible for leading Augusta Healths digital evolution ensuring that technology and process improvements drive operational excellence enhance patient care and support the organizations strategic objectives. This role supports the CIO in the development and of enterprisewide digital transformation initiatives including process redesign technology adoption and innovation strategies.
The Director collaborates with clinical operational and IT leaders to assess needs identify emerging technologies and implement solutions that improve efficiency user experience and healthcare outcomes. They establish and enforce governance structures to manage digital initiatives prioritize investments and drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across Augusta Health.
This position requires expertise in humancentered design process optimization and change management. The Director also plays a principal role in managing vendor relationships evaluating digital health solutions and ensuring that Augusta Health remains at the forefront of healthcare technology advancements.
