Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing our SAP ECC environment maintaining addon software tools and handling SAP integration and SaaS connections for boundary applications like banks and TMS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration experience with relevant addons and a good understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Basis Administration:
- Manage and maintain SAP ECC systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform system installation configuration upgrades and patching.
- Conduct regular system monitoring performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- AddOns Management:
- Administer and maintain addon software tools
- Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of these addons within the SAP landscape.
- Collaborate with functional teams to address and resolve issues related to addons.
- SAP Integration:
- Manage SAP integration with various boundary applications including banks and TMS systems.
- Ensure robust and secure data exchanges between SAP and external systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
- SaaS Connections:
- Implement and manage SaaS connections for boundary applications ensuring seamless integration with SAP.
- Work with vendors and external partners to maintain and optimize these connections.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for data security and privacy.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with other IT teams business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP solutions and addons.
- Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in SAP projects including system enhancements migrations and new implementations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Proven experience with SAP ECC and addons installation and Maintenance
- Strong understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections with boundary applications.
- Handson experience with SAAS installations and Maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP certification in Basis.
- Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools.
