Job Description
EstimatorProject Manager is responsible for estimating and managing projects from planning through closeout using the general contracting delivery process. This encompasses collaborating with all project team partners owners architects/engineers consultants contractors.
Specific Responsibilities
. Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets.
. Lead GC bid opportunities.
. Manage procurement and buyout of projects.
. Develop construction schedules.
. Manage efforts of staff team members on assigned projects.
. Coordinate work with owners architects/engineers consultants contractors.
. Develop and maintain good relationships with owners architects/engineers consultants contractors.
. Manage the construction and closeout of assigned projects.
. Manage financial aspects of projects.
. Work with clients and project team members to anticipate problems and implement solutions.
. Support and promote Safety Program and safe work conditions participate in safety training.
. Bring projects in on budget and on schedule.
Qualifications
. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
. Five or more years construction experience in institutional commercial and/or industrial construction.
. Demonstrated effectiveness as an estimator projects kept within budget and on schedule.
. Demonstrated leadership problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
. Proven organizational ability and attention to detail.
. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
. Have proven track record in successfully completing projects that meet objectives & requirements.
. Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain long term relationships with clients.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite MS Project and ability to use multiple webbased program management tools. Experience with Procore preferred.
