Qualifications:
At least one 1 year of experience in an administrative medical customer service or similar role.
Posthigh school education or vocational training in healthcare preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology Medicare Medicaid and payer regulations preferred.
Notary Public certification preferred or ability to obtain.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years (if applicable).
Strong organizational critical thinking and prioritization skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations with diplomacy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
Job Specific Duties:
Provide administrative and technical support ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
Coordinate daily operations manage information flow and communicate effectively within the assigned area(s).
Understand and apply policies and procedures in alignment with Logan Health standards.
Maintain organized records and documentation per department protocols.
Proactively manage priorities agendas and schedules for the assigned area(s).
Assist leadership with staffing coordination scheduling and communication needs.
Handle billing collections insurance verification authorization tracking and medical record maintenance (if applicable).
Assist in training and orienting new employees.
Perform data entry and track relevant information as needed.
Coordinate meetings prepare agendas and transcribe minutes.
Maintain professionalism in all tasks and interactions.
Ensure quality control on completed tasks to meet standards and expectations.
Assist with departmental activities and provide backup support when needed.
Order and maintain office supplies and inventory.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
