What will you be doing
Octopus Energy Engineering is responsible for the sites services and tariffs that are used by the millions of Octopus Energy customers worldwide. From building the latest cuttingedge timeofuse tariffs to helping customers actually enjoy tasks like providing meter readings through our wheel of fortune and everything in between.
Youll find a wide variety of challenges in the work we do as we help push the energy revolution forward. Our teams are multidisciplined and collaborate between countries meaning you have what you need to get the right people together and build the next great thing.
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer II to join our Flexibility Team at OE Engineering.
Flexibility is a small team that builds and maintains onboarding applications that empower Octopus Energy customers to effectively manage their energy usage around their home lifestyle and the national grid.
Youll be working on industryleading smart products such as Intelligent Octopus Go our smart tariff designed to save Octopus Energy customers 100s a year by powering their electric vehicles with green offpeak energy. Or Agile Octopus the everpopular green energy tariff that empowers our customers to access halfhourly energy prices that ebb and flow with the market. Our smart products empower Octopus Energy customers to use energy more efficiently reducing costs while benefiting the planet.
The Flexibility team works closely with talented product design and marketing teams within the Octopus Energy Group to deliver bigimpact projects for our customers at a pace that is captivating and challenging there is never a dull day when youre working alongside the cutting edge of green energy.
