Job Summary:
Xylem is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to service our water purification equipment at various customer sites in the northeast. This position requires 8090 travel.
Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Create and maintain safe working environment and culture within the organization
- Take care of company property

- Usually works with minimal supervision
- Works independently
Travel Requirements:
- 34 weeks/month
- Travel area includes all of NE

Education & Experience Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
- Able to pass background check & preemployment drug screen
- 2 to 5 years of technical work experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
- Preferred: May have industry specific license(s)
Skill Requirements:
- Electrical mechanical diesel fusion experience depending on business unit
- Experience operating water pumps and valves
- Work without direct supervision
- Technically sound
- Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
- Must have customer service experience
- Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
- Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
- Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways
