Job Description
The Department of Medicine Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Rochester is seeking M.D./Ph.D. or M.D. Assistant Professor applicants with experience in clinical research for faculty position in the Hematology Program including Classical Hematology Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies and Hematologic Malignancies. Our multidisciplinary programs include radiation imaging and pathology subspecialists. The predominant criterion for appointment is a commitment to clinical excellence research and teaching. Mentoring fellows residents and medical students and possessing creativity and strong interpersonal skills in order to work with a collaborative and diverse faculty will be essential. Our facility provides fully integrated inpatient and outpatient clinical clinical research and laboratory space for Cancer and Hematologic Medicine a key component of the Medical Center Strategic Plan.
M.D. Degree or equivalent
Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
