Who we are looking for:
We need a staff engineer with 3 years of experience in building scalable infrastructure from the ground up and who can manage and grow our Engineering team from 3 to 10 people within the next year. We need someone who is both reliable and bigpicture thinking.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from a leading academic institution
6 years of experience in backend engineering
Familiar with Kubernetes and Python
Here is our tech stack:
Front end: Python Flutter Dart
Back end: Python GCP Redis Kubernetes
Our interview process:
0. Expectations
We look for people with a track record of building. If you shipped a product with 100k downloads created an open source project with 10k stars/downloads or made $100k you get fasttracked.
1. Initial chat
Instead of a recruiter one of the engineers on the team will have a chat with you. We prefer to grab a coffee in Palo Alto.
2. Personality assessment
Well send you a personality assessment to understand you better. This is the one we use.
3. Take home challenge
Well send you a short take home challenge that typically takes 6090 minutes to complete.
4. Onsite interview
Youll be invited onsite to meet the team and complete the second half of the take home.
5. Offer
We pay top of market. Salary range for technical roles are $200 $600k and equity.
