An industry leading energy services companyis immediately hiring a Senior Building Automation Technician to cover the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

As the Senior BAS Technician you will be primarily responsible for supervising training and mentoring junior technicians; installing commissioning and programing building automation systems (i.e. Siemens); and HVAC troubleshooting preventative and corrective measures to various equipment (Air Handlers Boilers Chillers Variable Frequency Drives etc..Other duties include but are not limited to:
Support Customers through phone and computer assistance
Monitor Energy Management Systems in client buildings
Other related duties
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least five 5 years experience as a Building Automation Technician required
- At least one 1 year related supervisory experience in the industry
- Previous experience with programming and commissioning systems using BACnet and/or P2 protocols
24year technical degree in addition to technical training/certifications
- Certificate in Building Environmental Systems (BES/BSET) or related program considered an asset.
- Valid G drivers license and clean record
- Ability to pass PreEmployment Background Check (Driving Criminal Credit References)
SHIFT: Days 8:30am 5:00pm. Flexible to work outside operational hours as needed
COMPENSATION:
- $70000 $95000/year
