How will your ideas contribute to shaping whats next

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to join our Program Performance Defence team in Sydney and work with a group of highly skilled specialists. Youll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of Defence and Government clients in New South Wales and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to cocreate innovative solutions that help shape the future.

The work we do is vital to enabling capability and operations for Defence. Its the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do:

• Manage the of Estate Upkeep Capital Works projects for NSW Defence Bases.
• Manage both design and construction schedules to ensure that they are delivered to client expectations timeframes and specifications.
• Manage varying scopes of works on projects from concept design through to handover
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle including design management tendering contract administration financial management project scheduling and risk management
• Report to the Regional Leads and Program Director on status progress and completion of projects.

Alongside your industry experience in a similar role youll also have:

• Up to 5 years experience in project management.
• A strong understanding of Project Management and a passion for infrastructure projects that make a difference.
• Qualifications in technical discipline such asproject management construction management engineering or similar.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Exceptional skills in report writing presentation creation and client document preparation ensuring clarity and professionalism.
• Ability to assess Contractor documentation (e.g. payment and variation claims EoTs).
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and review design documentation.
• Proactive and accountable approach to problem solving.
• Be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).

If successful Aurecon will assist with your application including application fees. Further details are available via the AGSVA Defence related project work is preferable but not required.
