We are Seeking an Applied/Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning AI and deploying large language models. Focus on transforming SaaS business models using traditional and Generative AI. This role drives innovation efficiency and datadriven decisions. You will be reporting to Senior Manager Data Science. Youll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing machine learning models including LLMs to improve Zscalers tools and selecting suitable statistical methods for data analysis
- Conducting extensive research and development in advanced areas such as generative AI predictive analytics anomaly detection and other emerging technologies
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to seamlessly integrate AI/ML technologies into Zscalers solutions
- Analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights improve model accuracy and enhance overall performance
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning AI and cybersecurity to ensure Zscaler remains a leader in innovation
What Were Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- PhD (preferred) or advanced degree in CS ML Statistics with experience in applied data science models like Regression Decision Trees and KMeans
- Processing and analyzing large volumes of natural language data with over 5 years of experience in NLP
- Programming and developing machine learning solutions using Python SQL and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms deep learning neural networks and their applications in cybersecurity
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Strong background in mathematics statistics and their application in ML and AI with experience in text and image generation models
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop Spark)
- Familiarity with SQL NoSQL databases and data engineering principles
