Job Description
Were looking for a hardworking driven and passionate candidate to join our team as we get set for further growth in 2025 helping our owners to maintain their high quality properties and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service whilst staying with us.
The role of the Linen Driver is to drive the company vehicle to transport linens to our properties1620 hours per week across 34 days and must be available on our busy days which are Fridays Sundays and Mondays.
The Linen Driver supports the Housekeeping Operations Manager to direct and coordinate the daily operations of ahousekeepingservices department to ensure our properties and other specified areas are kept in a clean and tidy order.
Main duties and key result areas:
- Collecting linen from our central storage unit and bagging it up/loading the van according to the business needs.
- Distributing linen towels and consumables around Liverpool city centre to our team of housekeepers.
- Restocking supplies such as soaps shampoos tea coffee sugar etc. to ensure uninterrupted guest services.
- Dropping off dirty linen at the laundry premises in a timely manner.
- Communicating effectively with housekeepers regarding your whereabouts and their requirements ensuring seamless coordination.
- Following all company safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities for resolution.
- Conducting weekly stock counts of all linen and consumables to monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are available.
To be considered for this role you MUST have:
- Full driving license (if you have a disability we will explore reasonable adjustments with you).
- Knowledge of Liverpool City Centre
- One years driving experience of similar sized vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter)
- Have a proactive approach to health and safety creating a safe environment for all.
- An efficient communicator with a professional and customer orientated approach.
- Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
- Aligned to the purpose and values of the company.
