Job Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Manager C&I Turnkey Solutions will be responsible for closing turnkey contracts for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Storage solutions initially focusing on Italy and Germany. This role plays a key part in driving revenue and achieving preset sales targets based on market conditions. Preferably based in Italy the position reports to the Director C&I Turnkey Solutions Europe.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in selling C&I Turnkey solutions with a strong technical and commercial background. This includes preparing detailed commercially and technically sound proposals for offtakers in close alignment with the Commercial C&I Turnkey Manager for Budgeting and Design. A deep understanding of market dynamics as well as a track record of successfully negotiating and closing C&I turnkey contracts is essential. Additionally the candidate should be able to seamlessly integrate into the global sales organization collaborating effectively with the international team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships while actively developing new business opportunities within the targeted markets and segments
  • Identify qualify and pursue highpotential sales opportunities to drive market and revenue growth
  • Provide detailed commercial and technical proposals to customers ensuring alignment with internal teams.
  • Lead endtoend contract negotiations securing C&I Turnkey agreements
  • Take full responsibility for achieving set sales targets and revenue goals for C&I Turnkey solutions.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of the competitive landscape including service offerings component solutions and market differentiators
  • Monitor and analyze market trends regulatory developments and political frameworks affecting energy storage in designated market segments
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and team members including business development commercial project and other internal functions to ensure seamless project
  • Leverage market feedback to enhance turnkey product offerings pricing strategies and gotomarket approaches
COMPETENCIES
  • Strong sales skills including expertise in the sales process developing and executing effective strategies presenting comprehensive sales proposals negotiating complex contracts and closing deals
  • Proactive attitude pragmatic mind set and possessing a sense of urgency
  • Result driven and hands on work approach with a down to earth mentality
  • Ability to work autonomously with high reliability used to work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comfortably interact with people at all levels of the organization including executive management in an international environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to understand customers business
LANGUAGES
  • Fluent in English (German or other European languages would be a plus)
LOCATION
Germany Italy Spain or remote

  • Network in the relevant industry segment with at least 7 years working experience
  • Experience with value selling and designing an account penetration strategy/plan

  • High proficiency of MS Office applications and Sales Force or other CRM Systems
