OnsiteCollins Aerospace in Fairfield CA is seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to fill the role of Production Associate I 2nd Shift.The Propulsion Systems business of Collins Aerospace specializes in designing manufacturing and testing various energetic devices. Our products include system components that ensure the safe ejection of pilots from fighter jets and helicopters. Our team creates a diverse range of cartridgeactuated devices propellantactuated devices and linear devices that support military and commercial applications with pride.
At our facility we specialize in the manufacturing and testing of explosive propellant and cartridgeactuated devices. From intricate components to critical systems like canopy removal mechanisms our work directly impacts the safety and effectiveness of our products. Compensation:
22.00 per hour starting rate* plus shift differential
Paid vacation & sick time

Schedule:
Onsite at Fairfield CA
Monday to Friday 4:00 pm 2:30 am
Overtime available and/or mandatory on a business need basis
What You Will Do
Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
Meet customer deadlines and expectations.
Responsible for complying with applicable elements of quality systems.
Participate in audits.
Acquire applicable skills/knowledge/certifications as required.
Perform inspection of parts coating labeling/boxing and general preparation for shipment.
Check parts for cracks loose connections faulty bonds and faulty assembly.
Record test results in the testing log. Route products for rework or salvage of usable parts.
Route reworked assemblies for testing. Clean completed assemblies. Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications.
Test parts by connecting to test equipment setting controls observing readings and actions of instrument checking for malfunctions.
Once properly trained and/or certified perform specific tasks including but not limited to laser welding and laser marking.
Maintain materials equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.
Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
Typically requires an HS Diploma or GED. In the absence of an HS diploma or GED two years of relevant experience is typically required.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to developing our products.

*The salary range for this role is $42360 to $57311. However Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills
