Youll lead and grow a team of talented engineers while sharing your passion for complex backend challenges.
The Attribution team owns the services that make it possible to deliver data in the form of reports for advertisers on Yelp. These reports offer valuable insights into how advertising spend drives key business conversionssuch as transactions store visits and other measurable actionshelping businesses maximize the value of their partnership with Yelp.
Engineers on this team work on backend applications that enable privacysafe measurement of ad performance and process large volumes of advertiser data to demonstrate the value of Yelps advertising across multiple business locations. Their work has a direct impact on Yelps business and revenue.

Manage a team of engineers and lead them through complex technical projects.
Coach and mentor engineers at all experience levels from early career to senior supporting their professional development and growth.
Collaborate closely with product engineering and business stakeholders to build and execute longterm roadmaps.
Ensure highquality project management engineering standards and best practices within the team.
Play a key role in shaping discussions on future applications and systems evaluating the appropriateness of proposed solutions.
Support the hiring process by identifying candidates conducting interviews and helping close new hires to build a strong and diverse team.
Foster a fun inclusive and diverse team culture that reflects Yelps values.
Previous experience as a peoplefirst manager.
Proven experience working with largescale data processing.
Ability to think strategically and balance shortterm product goals with longterm platform investments.
Excellent communicator with strong business insights.
Comfortable in your favorite modern programming language (e.g. JavaScript Python Java ObjectiveC Swift C etc..
