Description The School of Humanities and Sciences is creating a pool of qualified parttime lecturers in the Department of Art Art History and Architecture for Studio Art area course for possible openings for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. We seek candidates to teach courses at various levels including introductory in the disciplines of painting drawing sculpture printmaking graphic design and digital media (note: photography is housed in the Park School of Communications not Studio Art). In the studio arts the department offers BA and BFA degrees in Art and minors in Art and Graphic Design.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants must hold an MFA MA or Ph.D. degree in the field and college teaching experience is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered depending on course and level.
