Due to the dynamic development we are looking for candidates to join our team as: Sourcing Lead
New Business Development
Implement the priorities of the buying office
Work directly with the triangular team in developing robust and lasting
relationships in order to drive better/more informed decisions
Support the creation of a vendor level strategy through a combination of new
supplier discovery activity and benchmarking
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors to deliver
the product development and margin plans
Contracting and Operational Delivery
Ensure project milestones are delivered on time promoting cross functional
collaboration
Guarantee minimum standards and Kingfisher sustainability policy
compliance
Be the point person on the management of the KIPL contracts
Be responsible for the collection completeness and quality of the data to
support article and vendor set up and maintenance in the company systems.
Be responsible for adherence to sourcing processes using the relevant
systems and tracking tools such as CPC Project Management Contract
Management and Audits etc
Be the Kingfisher point person for the vendors; responsible for ensuring their
compliance to our policies and processes such as Brand and Packaging
Audit and Factory Assessment
Product and Supplier Development
Support the delivery of the category level vendor strategy to ensure the
buying office has the best possible chance of gaining group volume through
competitive tenders
Organise & contribute to the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
programme for Key Strategic vendors understanding capabilities risks and
opportunities in your supply base
Ongoing business activity
Manage forecasting & delivery of KPIs through structured monitoring &
reporting
With support from the PSM build the strategy of the negotiation through
setting the target and objectives to deliver the required margin from annual
contract negotiations and cost price reduction/increase mitigation activities
Ensure fact based negotiations through should cost cost breakdown LPP
analysis production cost and processes and developing common platforms
(components 2nd/3rd tier suppliers)
Essential Skills
Strong negotiation skills including being able to think creatively
Ability to thrive and make decisions in a fast paced environment
Attention to detail to assist with issue resolution and problem solving
Excellent communication and influencing skills with an ability to challenge the
status quo and work collaboratively with a wide network
Experience of managing projects and holding stakeholders to account
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Outlook Excel and PowerPoint
Beneficial Skills
Knowledge of manufacturing and product development process
Prior procurement/ retail experience
